Aralanet is a capability building program to bring the "place to learn" inside the Internet.

aralaNet: schools in the web Project facilitate a user-centric and outcome-based process that make every school build web presence in just two (2) days at a miniminal cost, and using business-ready open source computer software, web 2.0 applications, and public Internet services that the e-citizens of the world are productively and creatively using.
The project introduces standard framework and Internet-based repositories of knowledge that the schools can use in pursuing Internet-based teaching and learning. It includes digital-based instructional materials to build the e-Citizenship knowledge and skills of every students and teachers.
It provides a practitioner assisted training design that motivates and skills-up the teachers to become e-citizens and web authors for teaching and learning.
At the end, the aralanet brings together the free on-line social network of schools in the web that are engaged in knowledge formation and higher order thinking collaborations.
